Driving for change: beyond the car

  • Cubic Theatre London Transport Museum London, England, WC2E 7BB United Kingdom (map)

In this three-part lecture series, inspired by the contents of Roadkill: Unveiling the True Cost of Our Toxic Relationship with Cars, by Henrietta Moore and Arthur Kay, explore how transport can be more than moving from A to B and how we can live better together in cities.

Explore how knowledge of car harm and the proven alternatives emerging across the globe might inspire a new vision of urban life that is built around people, not traffic. Leading academic and thinker Professor Dame Henrietta L. Moore will evidence the enormous damage caused by cars to our quality of life, and examine the story of false freedoms that have been tied to the car.

The event includes a 30-minute talk plus 30-minute audience Q&A.
