UCLUkraine: a whole university approach to Reconstruction

Through UCL Ukraine, the IGP is helping to coordinate a whole-university approach to reconstruction, drawing on expertise across UCL to address complex social, economic, and environmental challenges. The initiative supports government, citizens, communities, civil society, and business to work together in designing practical, locally grounded solutions for Ukraine’s sustainable future.

Henrietta co-chaired the British Academy’s Sustainability and Social Value Working Group

Developed in collaboration with HM Treasury and the Department for Business and Trade, the working group contributed to a wider policy programme exploring how long-term, interdisciplinary thinking can support a more sustainable and holistic approach to economic growth and development in the UK.

Southwark Land Commission


Henrietta Moore joined the 2023 Southwark Land Commission, contributing expertise from IGP’s Prosperity Index on how land use can support local wellbeing and community prosperity. The Commission brought together experts, community groups and major landowners to develop ambitious proposals for using Southwark’s land for the benefit of local people. The Land for Good: 2023 Southwark Land Commission report puts forward wide-ranging and ambitious proposals for land use in the Southwark Council.

The Commission was led by Southwark Council, with support from local organisations PRD, We Made That, and PMV planning. It was chaired by Dr Miatta Fahnbulleh, Chief Executive of the New Economics Foundation.

Henrietta co-chaired T7 Task Force Engagement Group

The IGP played a key role in providing policy recommendations to G7 countries as part of the Think7 (T7) Engagement Group. Professor Henrietta Moore and the IGP co-chaired the T7 Task Force on ‘Social cohesion, Economic transformation and Open societies’, providing policy recommendations for the German G7 Presidency on how to support systemic transformations on social cohesion.

Henrietta gave evidence to the Environmental Audit Committee inquiry in the House of Commons

Henrietta served on the Expert Advisory Panel for The Dasgupta Review

The Dasgupta Review, an independent global review on the Economics of Biodiversity, calls for a fundamental shift in how we understand, measure, and protect prosperity by placing Nature at the centre of economic decision-making. The Review was commissioned in 2019 by HM Treasury.

A New Economics Foundation Pocketbook by Ed Mayo and Henrietta Moore outlining the concept of the new mutuality and the vision of government needed to support more collaborative, inclusive, and socially grounded forms of prosperity.
