A unique research centre has emerged out of the long term research conducted in the Kerio Valley by Henrietta Moore. Collaborative research between Henrietta Moore and Matthew Davies, in close association with the Marakwet community of northwest Kenya, has established this community run centre. Based in the rural-setting of Tot-Sibou Village in the Kerio Valley, the Station is run by Mr Timothy Kipkeu (Director) and Ms Helena Chepto (Assistant Director) and boasts a well-trained team of local research assistants who have experience conducting a wide variety of humanities and social science based research. The centre is able to support projects operating in the Marakwet region in logistical and strategic ways.
